FAQ
What is this product?
This is a sustainable comforter (quilt/doona) designed for hospitality and accommodation use, combining a 50/50 polycotton cover with a post-consumer recycled polyester fill.
What materials are used?
What does “post-consumer recycled polyester” mean?
Post-consumer recycled polyester is made from plastic items that have already been used and discarded by consumers (commonly plastic bottles and packaging). These plastics are collected, cleaned, processed, and turned into new polyester fibres.
Is this comforter GRS certified?
The recycled polyester fill is produced in a GRS-certified facility (as stated). If you require product-level GRS certification documentation for tenders or compliance, request confirmation and supporting paperwork from ALS.
Why choose recycled polyester fill instead of virgin polyester?
Using post-consumer recycled polyester helps:
-
Reduce plastic waste going to landfill or the environment
-
Support a circular economy by keeping materials in use longer
-
Reduce reliance on new petroleum-based raw materials
(Exact footprint benefits vary by supply chain and should be validated with supplier documentation if required.)
Is it suitable for hotels and accommodation?
Yes. It’s designed to deliver durable, consistent warmth and comfort appropriate for guest rooms, with practical materials commonly used in hospitality linen programs.
What sizes are available?
What colours are available?

How do I wash and dry this comforter?
-
Warm wash with a mild liquid or powder detergent
-
